What a marvel-lous time to be alive

I mean, could there be a better time to tie my Marvel admiration with some positive pep talk?
As you may know (you must know?) Avengers: Endgame released earlier this week and man... I have been waiting like 10 months for 25 April 2019. I was floating with excitement the whole week and pretty much booked a day screening as soon as I could (no way was I waiting all day, I wouldn't have made it). Needless to say, there are no spoilers here but it was just PURE magic. As far as cinematic experiences that I will recall for a long time go, this was in the top three. Everything cool possible happened and as many people have heard me chant all week "it was an experience, no way was that a movie... that was an experience".

I could sincerely write an entire post about how much I loved the movie, how much I love Avengers and how ICONIC those sweet three hours were but that's not what I came to do.
I love Captain America (and Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow) but Cap always has that "giddy optimism" that makes me smile.

I love that whole vibe he has going on with rising to the challenge, doing things even when they seem impossible and making things happen (you know the general Avenger vibe) and it got me thinking, how inspiring this all was. Of course, these are superheroes in a fictional movie but the story they tell has impact... because lets face it, we should all be our own superheroes (too much?) I can't imagine what it feels like to be one of the leading actors in this franchise, for pretty much everyone of all ages to be watching you, admiring you, waiting on your next line or next comment. I guess it must be pretty insane... On a very small level, I bet everyone feels that kinda pressure. Whether its work or school or our personal lives - we strive not to let people down, to be our best and to do our best, we get scared when faced with challenges and then we take a breath and (hopefully) absolutely crush it to make things happen. Sound familiar? You are just as strong as any damn superhero, that's what I came to tell you today and to reiterate how you are just like another human changing the world, I've included the video below - can't beat some advice from The Cap now, can ya?

You are pretty damn strong, whatever you're doing right now if you're not feeling 100% and if you want that to change then this post is for you, your mind is yours, your life is yours, change it, shape it, paint it and absolutely love every hour of it cause it will flash by and you don't want to look back and miss the minutes that could have been spent dreaming or working but were spent over-analysing or following through on your "brain noise"... elevate yourself. THIS is your time.

Enjoy it, stay smiling,
Ux
